A foggy-rainy Friday afternoon in NYC overlooking the East River and Brooklyn. Reminded me of old 1930′s/1940′s images of NYC – or a Stephen King novel. Nikon D300s with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4G; mostly f/5.6 at 1/60 sec, ISO 800. Converted to black & white using Adobe Lightroom 4 Beta.

A lunch time walk with the Nikon D700 and 17-35 AFS to Pier 15 at the South Street Seaport in New York City. The newly renovated pier is part of the East River Waterfront Esplanade.

As we enjoy and prepare for the holidays, a few images taken last night here in Manhattan along the Hudson River up to the WTC site. All with a D700 and 1990 vintage Nikkor 35mm f/2 AF processed with the recently updated 64-bit capable Nikon Capture NX 2.3. A happy and safe holiday season to all.
